Last Week at MES

Last week, Nicholas learned some new Montessori activities - Color Box III, Constructive Triangles, Mystery Bag, and Leaf parts puzzle. He also worked with bead stringing and push pins to make his fingers strong.

In Language, Nicholas does a great job of tracing his name. He enjoys musical phonics. He is learning about various nomenclatures and sequencing.

In Math, Nicholas is practicing the Bead Stair, Abacus, Spindle Box Addition and counting to 50. Math Mats is a fun listening skill that he is working on.

The Good Shepherd lesson was about Baby Moses.

The class made and enjoyed eating pumpkin spice pancakes. Nicholas loves measuring ingredients so he had a great time. This Thursday the class is having a mini Thanksgiving feast and each child is bringing a food item. School will be closed all next week for the Thanksgiving holiday.
