Nicholas catches his first fish!

What an exciting day for Nicholas! Nicholas and Daddy have been doing some fishing over several weekends at a little pond near our house. They would get some nibbles but never caught anything. Well this day was different. As soon as Nicholas got his hook in the water, he got a bite! Daddy helped to set the hook but Nicholas reeled in the little brim all by himself. He (and Daddy) were so very proud! Nicholas had been asking for his own tackle box. We told him that when he caught his first fish that he would get his very own tackle box but he was so excited just for having caught the fish that he forgot all about the tackle box he had been begging for!
