Summer is here!

Nicholas helped me to make this swimming pool cake to celebrate the start of summer. It is a basic yellow cake with a blue Jello "pool" in the middle. The pool contains some gummy fish, gummy octopus, and gummy shark candies along with a few Teddy Graham swimmers. On the shore are some more Teddy Graham friends sunning themselves on some gummy rings or hanging out in the shade of the palm trees and umbrellas. What a fun cake to make - and eat!

Nicholas just loves flying kites! He already has 3 of them. Two are Spiderman kites and one is a Superman kite. His favorite thing to do is to run with the kite flying behind him. Watch out for the trees, little man!
