With the anniversary of September 11th this week, Nicholas and I have spent a lot of time talking about the United States and what patriotism means. We've been singing songs, talking about the American flag, and saying the Pledge of Allegiance. Although I wanted him to learn the Pledge, we haven't really worked on trying to memorize it. However, he picks things up rather quickly and he has learned it just by hearing me say it. At first he was a little shy about saying it for the camera but he did great!
