Splashing fun at Old Town Aquatic Park

We spent the morning at Old Town Aquatic Park with our friends. What fun! We just love this place! There's water splashing around everywhere, cool slides, lazy river, a picnic lunch, and the best friends around. What more could we ask for?





At age 3, is spitting water on a girl considered flirting???



This is Nicholas and his dear friend, Emma Rae. The two of them later started chasing each other around spitting water on each other and laughing together. Here they are taking a break and "bonking their noggins" together.



Time to go, Nicholas! Does he say "Yes, ma'am" and put his shoes on to leave? No! He runs back to the pool as fast as he can and jumps in! Little stinker!



We finally made it home and Nicholas got some cool water to drink and then took a bath. He sat on my lap as we read some stories and now he's sleeping like a rock! Nothing like hours of fun in the sun to make a little guy tired. Mommy loves this quiet time of the day, to recover from morning activities, and ramp up for the second round in the afternoon. We'll be at Adventure Week in the evenings again this week. I'm volunteering on stage crew and Stuart is on camera. Nicholas will be in the preschool where they will have their own version of Adventure Week tailored just for them.
