Nicholas gave me a sweet card and gift that he made at school. The gift is his thumbprint with accents drawn on it to make it a cute little piggy.
I've got the best job in the world! Don't get me wrong. I work hard but my priorities may not be the same as some other women's priorities. I do love it when my house is clean and sparkling. But that isn't my goal for each day. My goal is to spend quality time with my little child while he is still little. We make the very most of each day even if we don't leave the house. My paycheck may be lacking but I'm filled up with kisses and hugs each and every day. My kitchen floor may get sticky, or even worse, "crunchy". Someone may run out of clean underwear from time to time. But I spent another precious day with my son, nurturing him and loving him and teaching him about life. What more could a mom wish for!
