What a fun place to spend the summer! Today we went to Hawaiian Falls Water Park for the first time. Nicholas just loved it. He especially liked playing on the innertubes in the giant wave pool.
Then we ventured over to a water playground. It was several level high and there was water shooting up from the floor or spilling down on our heads the whole time we were in it. There are several rope net bridges and other fun things in the structure as well as several water slides shooting off from it!
Before we left, Nicholas decided that he was brave enough to try the big water slides called the Honolulu Lulu. I'm sad that I didn't get a picture of this thing. It was a really big structure with three adult-sized slides. I was worried that he would get scared because he had never done anything like this before. Fortunately they have double innertubes for two people to ride on so I was able to sit in the back and sort of hold him in my lap as we went down. Oh my goodness! He was so excited when we finished. He had a huge grin on his face and said, "Let's do it again!" So of course we did. It was a lot of fun!
