Every year Pepsico rents out the entire park for an employee appreciation party. Admission is free plus each person gets $10 to spend in the park on food, souvenirs, whatever. Of course, there is also all the free Frito Lay chips and Gatorade/Pepsi products that you could ever want. We even got to try some yummy samples of a new product coming out next February.
We spent a lot of time in the Looney Tunes USA area because all of those rides are for young children. Nicholas rode many of the rides there by himself. He seemed a little bored with some of those rides though. He had the most fun when he rode the roller coaster and some of the adult rides that we rode with him. He is definitely a thrill-seeker!
Nicholas was so excited to see the Batman and Robin characters walking around the park. However, when they got on a stage to pose with people for pictures, Nicholas got shy and wouldn't even give Batman a high five. Here he is hiding in Stuart's arms. Stuart tried to put him down, hoping that he might at least go up to the stage with them. Instead, he hid behind Stuart! How funny!
We enjoyed some funnel cake. Nicholas loved the powdered sugar!
We used the rest of our park money to buy some light sabers for Nicholas which he absolutely loves!
